Same-Day Crowns in
Jacksonville, FL

The Fastest Dental Repair
Powered by the Latest CEREC Technology

Struggling with a cracked or damaged tooth is a pain.  Having to wait 2 weeks for a permanent crown only adds to the stress.  Same-day crowns let you get back to smiling in a single visit.

What is a CEREC crown?

CEREC is a technology used in dentistry to create same-day dental restorations, such as crowns, inlays, onlays, and veneers. The process involves advanced digital imaging, computer-aided design (CAD), and computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) to fabricate custom ceramic restorations right in the dental office, eliminating the need for multiple appointments and temporary restorations.

This technology allows for faster, more efficient dental care, with restorations completed in a single visit, reducing the need for temporary crowns or multiple appointments. CEREC crowns are also highly durable, accurate, and aesthetically pleasing, mimicking the natural appearance of teeth.

Did you know...

27% of all adults have untreated tooth decay.
Same-day crowns are the best way to treat this damage and save your tooth!

How do CEREC crowns work?

  • Digital Scanning: The dentist takes a digital impression of the patient’s tooth using a special intraoral scanner, which creates a 3D image of the tooth and surrounding structures.
  • Design: The dentist uses CEREC software to design the crown on a computer, tailoring it to the patient’s tooth for a precise and natural fit.
  • Milling: Once the design is approved, the data is sent to a CEREC milling machine that carves the crown from a solid block of ceramic material.
  • Placement: After the crown is milled and polished, the dentist checks the fit and makes any final adjustments. The crown is then bonded directly onto the prepared tooth.

How long do same-day CEREC crowns last?

CEREC crowns can last anywhere from 10 to 15 years or more, depending on factors like the material used, the patient’s oral habits, and how well they maintain their oral hygiene. CEREC crowns are made from high-quality ceramic materials that are durable, strong, and resistant to wear, making them comparable to traditional crowns in terms of longevity.
